Delightful food and lovely atmosphere. We've never booked a meal out on Christmas day before, and it was delightful. We were greeted with warmth, every comfort was attended to, and the service was prompt and the food delicious. I'm coeliac, and every detail was checked, every sauce or items checked to make sure it was gluten free. It took all the worry away and it was so relaxing just to sit and wait for more lovely food and plenty of it. And no washing up! I would do it again, it was worth every penny.

Warmth, friendly, great food My mum, dog & I have just spent a week in Appledore for Christmas. We drank in the Seagate every day & ate in there twice - one of which was Christmas Day - it was wonderful every time we stepped foot inside. Really lovely to see most of the same team who were still working there from last year - that says a lot about a place! Christmas Day dinner was superb - nice pace between courses & it didn’t feel at all hectic, and the whole team looked happy to be there! Overall - it’s always a warm welcome, friendly atmosphere & I guarantee you’ll always find someone new to talk to! Thank you Seagate - until next year!

Christmas dinner with our very elderly mums. Well paced, excellent quality food and huge quantities! All staff were congenial and helpful, and our waitress Cerys was super smiley and cheery. Just what we needed!

We were so impressed with the staff in this pub. We ate there three times over new year and every time the staff were so friendly but also super efficient, especially New Year’s Eve when it was so busy. The food was very good too. We would definitely like to return.
