Quiz starts at 7:30pm, £2pp to enter, max team 6 people: winning team takes the 2/3 of pot... and, in a shock new move for Autumn 2025, 1/3 goes to the team second from last!!

Appledore Book Festival 2026

Set in the beautiful maritime village of Appledore, in North Devon, the Appledore Book Festival is one of the most vibrant cultural Festivals in the UK, which attracts world-class authors, speakers & performers and plays host to almost 100 events over 10 days. The governing charity was founded in 2006 by Nick Arnold, best-selling author of Horrible Science, to raise funds to save the Appledore Library. His campaign successfully united the local community, and he plays an active role in the Festival to this day.
